[ Katsura seems pleased with his response, however dull it was, and shuffles in his bag to pull out a bottle of sake-- whatever kind Gin prefers. There is a decorative ribbon wrapped around it.
Actually... a good gift?!!!!
Then he pulls out a little round tupperware and pushes it towards Gintoki. What's inside? A little itty bitty chocolate cake. Just enough serving for one person ( that you ). ]
Only since you've been good. [ No matter how much Gintoki can get under his skin, he feels indebted to him still— he's always "good" in his book. ]
. . . it was a good gift. He'll let Zura set the sake down between them-- but he'll pick up the container and open it right away, sniffing.
Chocolate. Chocolate cake. Heavenly sugar.
Zura bought him sugar? He almost couldn't trust it. On the other hand, it was Zura, and it was Christmas. He'll tilt his head a bit at it, but then he's getting up, coming back with a fork and two cups, pouring some for himself and Zura.]
You know how the legend goes-- bad children get... old VHSes of K*men R*der. Not even the good ones, and not even on Blu-Ray. [ it's supposed to be coal, but ok. ]
Gintoki, even with some of friends I have made here, I'm glad to see somebody from home-- It worried me too much to think of those I still call my comrades to be perished like they try to claim— or, realistically, some place far away from me.
[ pleaaaaaaase don't leave him. ]
I'll just have one cup to drink with you, however. [ He's pretty lightweight. ]
Edited (o wait he didn't know they're here yet.) 2015-05-27 01:45 (UTC)
[He'll take his drink in one swallow, filling his cup again. Gintoki's pretty quiet for now, but he'll speak up after taking another sip.]
So you don't--
I mean, there's no way the whole planet was destroyed right? Because like, you've been here longer than me but I wasn't destroyed so they're definitely lying? Like, I don't really want -- you don't think that things -- that JUMP is really gone, like there's no way all those things could be gone . . . I don't think?
[Man, he suddenly started rambling. Better shut himself up with a good bite of cake.
JUMP, another word for Shinpachi and Kagura, probably.]

Good, huh? So what if I'd been bad?
